Inside Sales Representative - Sales Career Transition Opportunity

Job Description:

Deerwood Technologies -- a full service national technology company -- is seeking experienced sales professionals as inside sales representatives for our rapidly growing hardware, services and software reseller business. If you have the sales drive and know-how, we'll help you thrive in the fast paced high level IT world.

Our inside sales representatives cultivate business with customers and prospects, understand their requirements, communicate the features, benefits and pricing of relevant software, products and services, as well as process quotes and sales in a timely manner.

Reports to Sales Business Unit

Requirements:

  • Track record in Business to business sales

Lead Engineer

Job Description:
We're seeking another competent, highly-motivated and reliable Lead Engineer. Technical competency is key (current industry certifications are required), but OUR Lead Engineer must also have demonstrated customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with business clients. This position will work directly with our Enterprise customers in both pre-sales project scoping as well as technical project implementation.

 
Technical focus areas include local and wide-area networking, multi-layer security, Exchange/SQL and advanced network design/monitoring. Candidates should also have experience in virtualization, current server technologies and proactive managed services methodologies and toolsets.


Experience as a field engineer is also desired. Travel throughout Central MN and the upper Midwest is required. Outstanding compensation package with the opportunity for advancement quickly for the right individual.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support sales efforts: audit customer environments; gather, analyze, define requirements; scope, plan and develop project proposals.
  • Build, configure, deploy and integrate technology in customer environments.
  • Develop and maintain Managed Services capabilities matrix to ensure Service Level compliance.
  • Maintain and evolve internal technology configurations per roadmap.
  • Manage Engineering and Network Operations Center service boards.
  • Improve existing and drive ongoing development of internal technical procedures and documentation.
  • Define and maintain technical staff training competencies, training needs and materials.

Outside Sales

We're seeking an experienced outside sales representative to sell IT Solutions to small and medium size professional medical practices and clinics.

The successful candidate must have 2+ years prior success selling IT solutions or services to office managers, owners or principals. Strong closing and hunting skills, the ability to sell value and not price, effective networking, the ability to cold call by phone and excellent consultative selling and closing skills are required. OUR sales staff must present themselves professionally at all times, be accountable and be consistent self-starters.
