Appointment Setter

Position Overview
The Appointment Setter will be responsible for making calls to prospective clients and setting meetings for our sales team. We have a number of marketing campaigns going on right now and you will be performing a very important step in bringing new clients to our firm.  This is a part-time position with the opportunity for full time employment and movement into outside sales.  Initially based in our Central MN headquarters, hybrid- and full-remote work arrangements can be accommodated for capable and talented staff.  We also provide incentives based on performance and the number of qualified appointments that you successfully make.

Minimum Requirements
– Minimum 1 year experience with inside sales, appointment setting or direct sales over the phone
– Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
– Experience managing clients in a CRM system
– Professional attitude and appearance
– Work well independently
– Grasp new concepts quickly
– Motivated and enjoy a challenge
– Outgoing and energetic
– Honest and responsible

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience with the following:
– Previous experience setting appointments over the phone with prospects
– Great phone skills
– Ability to engage people in conversations and get past gatekeepers
– Confident speaking with business owners and executives
– Experience handling objections
– Good time management and organizational skills

Beneficial Attributes (But Not Required):
– Knowledge, skills and experience with the following:
– Appointment setting for IT managed services in a small business environment
– Customer service or technical service
– Knowledge of IT systems and processes
– ConnectWise PSA
– Bachelor’s degree

Position Responsibilities:
– Set appointments for our sales reps
– Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns to set appointments
– Expand and update contact lists
– Help business owners solve recurring technology issues and secure their data
