Position Description
This role will be responsible for providing support for software, hardware, Cybersecurity and network-related projects and service requests by delivering solutions and provide issue resolution for our clients. This includes, but is not but not limited to cloud systems, desktop, laptop, server, and network devices as well as printers and other peripherals. Professional conversations with clients to determine problem details and classify level of support needed, will be essential. The qualified candidates will open, track and close project and service tickets to ensure full problem resolution, technical task completion and promote client satisfaction. The candidate will need a wide range of skills and knowledge in computer hardware and software as well as networking systems used in business and ideally, Managed Security Services environments.
Responsibilities
- Fully document client issues and problems with their technology
- Troubleshoot, analyze and solve client issues and problems via telephone, email and Managed Security Services systems/portals
- Report and update service tickets in a timely, clear and concise manner
- Configure client technology systems and equipment
- Must be able to manage multiple, high-priority work items effectively
- Follow, maintain and create Standard Operating Procedures, processes and best practices
- Cross-train, collaborate and communicate effectively with co-workers and clients
Desired Skills & Experience
- 2 to 3+ years demonstrated IT infrastructure technical work experience with increasing responsibilities
- Intermediate/working knowledge of cloud systems, networks, servers, desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals
- Basic IT industry/vendor Certifications – CompTIA A+, Network+ / Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Fortinet
- Associates Degree or higher
- Must have high attention to detail and demonstrated client service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outgoing, ambitious, eager and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong ability to learn quickly, self-starter and researcher
- Ability to adapt and provide steady and consistent service delivery in an evolving dynamic information systems arena
